Constant screen tearing on outdoor environments looks really distracting but it looks nice on the indoor confined sections. As far as amazing graphics that promise came only remotely close to being fulfilled on high end PC (although it stilll has some major glitches there apparently), it looks somewhere between low end average and reasonably good on console.
#Ne x battlefield 3 full
Apologists try to excuse it with the old chestnut of "BF is always about MP" but that's just not a valid rationalization for a full price title these days. While it's become tiresomely fashionable to bash COD it's difficult to deny they nail every aspect of the game whereas the consensus on BF is dull campaign and mixed on multi (still pretty glitchy, hmmm. Mediocre "me too" effort this turned out to be, I don't need two really similar modern FPS shooters when COD delivers both a good campaign and multiplayer (I won't lie some aspects of MP piss me off) as well as the co op spec ops and survival stuff which looks like more fun to me than competitive MP.
if MW3 looks this good then same apllies to MW2 and pretty much any COD for past some years lol MW3's campaign looks just as impressive visually i reckon (animations really stand out on bf3 though) - oh the controversy. and if bc2 was anything to go by you also know EA will probably have various things locked on the disc that they'll later market as "free" dlc support later down the line.
#Ne x battlefield 3 install
the hd pack, though an annoyance, isnt that much of a big deal as i imagine its still smaller than the mandatory install i'd get on the ps3, but theres noway i'd even consider getting this game if i didnt have a harddrive.Įither way, though it looks decent enough on console, it's a game i'll definatly be waiting atleast a month after release to purchase as the fact it needs a day 1 patch shows it obviously wasnt ready for release. In reply to wonder how much harddrive this will take up once the countless patches and hd pack are installed.
